My dad just sent me this picture of my great grampa:

He looks just like my grampa and dad and uncles! My dad said he’d try to dig up some old-timey pictures of them, but for comparison here is one of my dad:

Opinion

So my most recent crafty experiment in screenprinting is below: printing on the desk I got for $20 at a tag sale a couple of years ago. I painted it black, but that has been kind of boring. I was really excited about the metallic screenprinting ink I bought, and thought this would be fun. But then I went and painted the trim in gold as well, and I am afraid it looks too gaudy. Opinions? I can paint back over the trim before I seal it with acrylic varnish.
